Quantic Dream's 2018 sci-fi thriller Detroit: Become Human has become something of a sleeper hit. The developer announced that the title has passed the nice, round 10 million copies sold milestone on PS4 and PC.The studio points out that these are paid units, so presumably, even more, picked it up via services like PS Plus.
Last we heard, the David Cage choose-your-own-adventure had pushed some six million sales back in 2021. Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, it seems the bet was wise, and plans to expand the IP continues apace. NetEase has fully acquired Quantic Dream in the years since, and a reputedly pretty good manga spin-off has been released.
